Saw lots of the cards while I was out grocery shopping today, so hopefully there's plenty to go around. I didn't get any as I never really got into Animal Crossing.

I did puck up a Ganandorf from GameStop because my girlfriend kept saying she thought it looked really detailed and the employee told me it was the last one in a snotty tone like six times. It was a bit bemusing.

I also picked up a Link, because I wanted one the girlfriend wouldn't care if I opened. She has so many of these damn boxes at this point spread across two different homes and the ones here are stacked next to my side of the bed. But alas, she has caught the collection bug.

Ok I'm sure those of you steamed by the stuff you couldn't get or do find watch this and watch other online sources (reddit, facebook, etc) and know Toys R Us is doing a huge wave 1 restock but also on their own stuff Lucario and all that. The stuff has been popping up in fedex trucks this week.

Just got off my end of month meeting at work, called them and found they just got the boxes at mine locally so I went over. It took nearly a year but I've now got Captain Falcon and Little Mac.

Now I just need Pit.

It wasn't just like a 2 character order either, it was huge. Those, the rare pokemons, the last wave that got well cherrypicked, and various others got at least 8 of them in, it's all my stores shelf could hold and they had a lot more still in their cardboard boxes ready to fill empty spots. Call your stores, their manager told me yesterday when I went in for some replacement present candy my kid stole and ate at home fedex is every day after opening and they get stuff thursday and saturday from their truck. Just call and ask, it's all you can do.

If you live within my general area, the St Matthews location was restocked, not sure about the other across town.

They all seem to be pretty easy to find in the UK now. I went into a GAME the other day and they had Lucario, Shulk, Metaknight, Lucina, Robin, Greninja, Little Mac - seems they're all being restocked pretty heavily.

They've been getting easier to find for months now on this side of the pond.

When I worked at Toy's R Us last year it was pretty much a shitload from fed ex every morning and a tractor trailer every other night. If you ever don't see something on the floor or can't find something ask a sales person. I'd say %50+ percent of the time when I was asked about an item that was out of stock it was upstairs in the warehouse. Plus there is some stuff that just gets left up there forever due to clerical fudge ups.

Electronics dept had their own store room though and usually didn't have a ton plus most of those guys were assholes . Best off finding someone outside of that department to do a inventory check before going to those guys if you can't find it on the shelves cause even if they are in a helpful mood they are usually pretty slow on the computer. Customer service department can pull it up pretty quickly or if you have either Rweb or SKU # any sales associate can look up inventory with their scanner.

I hope that the animal crossing packs have quicker restock times since the manufacturing process should be less involved. I currently have 43/100 and would like to get a complete set.

^ Just about everywhere I've been so far has had the cards readily available, so I'm hopefully optimistic about their availability.


Went to Toys R' Us this weekend hoping for a Captain Falcon, but was disappointed They did have a Graninja, though, so that's one more off the list. Falcon is the only one I'm really still looking for. He is the white whale of my amiibo collection.

Also, I've been hearing rumors about certain amiibo characters loosing exclusivity and potentially showing up at Best Buy this week, along with restocks of older characters (including Falcon!) But, the rumors say that it'll start on the 6th, which means I'm SOL since I have to go to work and Best Buy is too far out of the way for a morning trip to be feasible But maybe if Best Buy is getting a restock, there's hope for other retailers.

My local TRU got a few captain falcons monday last week by friday they had gotten a bigger shipment that included multiple Lucarios, Little Macs, Captain Falcons, Greninjas. I was happy to get my hands on a little mac.

Michi I'll swing locally and see if I can find you a Captain Falcon. If so, we can just trade Ganondorf for Captain Falcon and call it good. I'll keep you posted.
