Saw Push a few days ago. I enjoyed it a lot, and felt that it was a great representation of artful cinematography.

Watched Friday the 13th and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Guess which was the better movie.

Little Miss Sunshine.
Very good dramedy.

RE Degeneration, which I liked better than RE4 (I know, different mediums but still...)

I just watched Tetsuo: The Iron Man. Interesting film...honestly, I think the second half is a lot better than the first. It really took the reappearance of the metal fetishist to pick the film up for me. The stop animation used for the way the he moved was actually pretty cool. Bizarre, though not as much as Eraserhead. Also, I really enjoyed the soundtrack. Some great stuff there.

Wow, I was wondering if this thread would ever get resurrected...

Long threads never die, they just get archived
but it seems nobody's watching movies anymore.
Last movie seen: Akira in 720p. Looks amazing even downsampled, but the lack of the Orion dub is quite disappointing.
Plus: Dawn of the Dead (1978) - It's better than expected but I still prefer the remake.

Saw Crank 2. Wasn't nearly as good as the first. I found the whole thing to be pointless, with most of the laughs from the first one replaced with nonsensical bullshit. This movie tried way too hard to be random and insane, and completely missed the mark on what made the first so good.
Then I saw Pineapple Express at home, and that was fantastic. Funny as shit, until the last 30 minutes which plays like a surprisingly good shootout scene.
