you'll need snk vs capcom match of the millennium (that game is too awesome for it's own good), and personally i enjoyed puzzle link 2.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.

Yeah, like he said, MoTM is great. I actually enjoyed "Gal's Fighter", too. It's really easy to pull off awesome combos.

metal slug games are fun in their own right, but they aren't metal slug.

I really liked king of fighters r-2 and i don't really enjoy fighters all that much.

i heard there is a megaman game on there that isn't on any other system. Japanese only. If you are into that.

If you like SD fighters you got the right system. I like The Last Blade and Samurai Shodown. Theres a pretty good port of Cotton as well.

Cardfighters Clash is awesome. Even if you don't like trading card games it's got more in common with Pokemon than Magic: The Gathering.

My top 10 in order:

1 SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium
2 Dark Arms
3 Metal Slug 1st & 2nd Mission
4 Faselei!
5 Sonic Pocket Adventure
6 Rockman Battle and Fighters
7 Card Fighters Clash
8 Biomotor Unitron
9 The Last Blade
10 Pocket Tennis

As others have said, SNK vs. Capcom: MotM is ridiculously good. I have Dark Arms listed pretty high but that's b/c in my opinion it's just fun for some reason and the weapon system and general theme of the game are interesting.

I suppose Pocket Tennis is a controversial addition but it's the first game I bought with my original b&w and I'm a sucker for simple oldschool tennis games. Some other titles worth looking at are the Dive Alerts (one version should be fine) and Ganbare Neo Poke Kun if you're willing to import. It's a super crazy collection of mini games.
