Let it be known that if someone actually created a YouTube series in which they reviewed/discussed/played video games as the Scarlet Pimpernel, I would probably die of happiness.Ack wrote:"Can't one presenter wear his wired collar properly?! I want to learn about Contra!"

Stick out as in the sense of being either tacky or gaudy. Ya know, like gold dollar signs.Ack wrote: Do you mean stick out as in physically they catch on things, or stick out as in people notice them?
That in mind, a friend of mine gave me Chicago Bears cuff links for standing up at his wedding. Every groomsmen received NFL themed cufflinks of their favorite team. They're actually really, really nice and pair well with an orange and navy striped tie.
And some can pull off wearing cufflinks that have the "Yin and Yang" symbols on it, but very few can.
Frown: It is still raining. Haven't been able to mow the yard in two weeks, and it will continue to rain throughout the weekend.
I don't do much facebooking, but I do pass on a lot of messages about dogs up for adoption that are scheduled to be destroyed. Sometimes it wears me down as every day thousands of puppies are destroyed. Not rabid pit bulls, innocent puppies. And they only get weeks in a shelter. Weeks.
It's weird that rapists and serial killers spend life in prison, but we live in a society that kills puppies in just a few days. It's silly to compare people like Charles Manson to a puppy, but shouldn't a puppy have a better life than Charles Manson?
I don't see dogs taking over the world, so why don't we act more like Cuba and let stray dogs be stray dogs? Bad dogs? Sure, lock 'em up. But let a good dog live. No need to put it in confinement and then kill it.

Gotta remember Luke, we're in a society where people are put above animals, even the bad ones. Some will disagree with this, of course, as I think you do to an extent, but that's where we currently sit.
I always feel like I'm really busy here in school, but when I sit down and think about it, I'm not. I need to work on my time management, or something. I'm also constantly tired despite sleeping correctly and (usually) eating enough. I don't know what that is about.

I understand that with our current judicial setting that appeals are needed and are a right of an US citizen. And of course people who are innocent go to the pen. But for the people who admit "Yeah I raped my brother and then killed him and my wife" can we please pass some law that the death penalty to those who admit to murder, with more than profound evidence, be dealt within a week?Forlorn Drifter wrote:Gotta remember Luke, we're in a society where people are put above animals, even the bad ones. Not defendants with mental issues who are talked in to being cooperative, people like the Batman movie killings and the Boston bomber who had strategic plans, we have video footage to the crimes, and they admitted to killing people. And it's been years. YEARS. And little puppies get a week in a prison before they are destroyed.
And these puppies don't get a bed, they don't get a television, don't get time to walk around the yard, and are usually handled by assholes on probation that should be the ones stuck in a cage.
But let me tell you how I really feel about it...

You're a sight for sore eyes Jinx, even if I can't see ya.
Frown: Parents were supposed to visit, but the weather is miserable. Five hours of driving in this stuff is not something one should do .
