Wooo! Morning people! I've been up for a while, prepping a slow cooker meal so that I can have more time to play Mario Maker. Everything is prepped primed and ready to go to have a nice beef roast with carrots and potatoes. Simple, easy and delicious! Now to have breakfast and play some games!RyaNtheSlayA wrote:I do day shift now too and would you look at the time. 'Mornin peeps! Coming straight at you from 4AM.
I've got a big pot of coffee here.

So one week in I love my early morning shift. What I don't love is being sick and kept up all night by it. That made rolling out of bed a bit troublesome.

Wal Mart sells a great, non-habit forming, sleep aid. I think it's twelve doses for eighty-eight cents.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:So one week in I love my early morning shift. What I don't love is being sick and kept up all night by it. That made rolling out of bed a bit troublesome.

I might have to pick some up after work. Alternatively I've got a bottle of NyQuil. Didn't really see the cold sweats coming last night.
At least I feel like I'll probably sleep super well either way with how exhausted I'll be by tonight!

I'm trying to figure out what you're talking about and I can't. There's not much that's $0.88 at Walmart besides individual pieces of produce, donuts, and candy.Luke wrote:Wal Mart sells a great, non-habit forming, sleep aid. They carry them at both my local Wal*Mart and Wal*Mart Neighborhood Market. Not sure if it's the Equate brand or not (threw away the box) but it's either eight or a dozen blue gel pills for eighty-eight cents.BoringSupreez wrote: I'm trying to figure out what you're talking about and I can't. Haven't taken one in weeks, but for nights when it seems my mind won't "turn off" they are dynamite for getting me to sleep.
I took a Tylenol PM once and I ended up sleep walking and peeing in my dog's water bowl. That's a true story. The sleep aid from WM doesn't knock you out, just helps you fall asleep.

Re: Early Morning Crew
I'm reviving this thread because I work early mornings now. About six months ago I moved to Richmond to take a better job. The downside to this is that I have to get here at 5 o'clock in the morning. The upside is that the boss isn't here to see me spending time on Racketboy.
So...I'm a member of the early morning crew again.

I'm not a super early morning crew guy, but I get up at 6:45 every morning during the week and around 7:30 or 8 on the weekends; can I be part of your cool kid club?

I live in a world where coffee is my only companion and waking up at 4am means "sleeping in" so I have to speed down I95 to make it to work on time.

Re: Early Morning Crew
Weekdays I get up at 7am. Which is still too damned early for this night owl.
Weekends I average getting up at 9:30am. But if I'm really being a lazy ass it might be 11:30am. I try not to do that anymore because it wastes precious weekend time.
