Oh dammit, I hate it when I overlook things like that. Thanks for the feedback, the middle path is definitely my favourite. I think in retrospect, I should have made the pipe make Mario fall directly onto the conveyor belt and not had a ledge at all. That would haved upped the ante a little bit.BogusMeatFactory wrote: Sunny Adventure - I took the middle path and it was really challenging. Managing the ice and the oncoming saw blades really upped the ante. I loved the three different paths and how they add variety to the level. The only suggestion I would make is that, in that middle path, when you go into the pipe, you can just fall off the initial ledge and land safely much farther down the conveyor belts circumventing some of the blades. Overall though it was great!

Metal Mario Slug, sounds so dope!
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

300ish so far, I just flub the simple change after the chain chomp. It might be because I was watching Captain Tylor at the same time...Ziggy587 wrote:More like .25% ! Thanks for spending the time and beating it.Blu wrote:At last Ziggy, I have conquered Insane mode. I am the 1%.
Curious, how many attempts did it take you before you beat it? Or did you lose count?
Re: The Super Mario Maker Thread
I think it's a work in progress. My hope is to be able to meld some genres and create some good run and gun / shmup stages.TEKTORO wrote:Metal Mario Slug, sounds so dope!
I think as I unlock new features I'll be able to stabilize and get things more pattern like and less a game of chance.
Right now I have plenty of fire flowers spread through the stages because of the challenges presented.

The lava level was challenging, especially the P switch.
Haha, was the P switch too mean? The trick is to make sure you're not holding the run button when you land on it so you don't accidentally grab it.
So since Insane turned out to be really, really hard (evident by the low completion percentage) I might make a 'very hard' version, which will be somewhere in between Hard and Insane.

More than a million levels have been uploaded since the game's release!

I know I couldn't do it. I think I only tried a dozen times or so though.

That's what happened the first time. I was holding the run button, grabbed the P Switch and took it in the lava bath with me.Ziggy587 wrote:Haha, was the P switch too mean? You must know that I ran around the house cheering after my triumph. That and I was very very cautious about jumping off the cliff at the very end.
Please don't ever change that level. Has anyone else beat it yet?
Re: The Super Mario Maker Thread
Last night I finally got the Mario Kart costume unlocked from beating the 100 Mario Challenge! This is probably the only costume that I really wanted to get unlocked. Thankfully it only took a little more than a dozen times, and not 100 (there's 100 costumes to unlock!).
I don't care if it's be done, and if I don't do it as good as others, and it's gimmicky, but I'm totally making a Mario Kart level!

I can't wait to get home from work and check, but I doubt it!Blu wrote:Has anyone else beat it yet?

^ I beat the medium and hard spin levels tonight and clearly I felt too cocky about it, because I decided to give Insane a try....I think I'm going to have another stiff joint in my hand tomorrow. And right after my thumbs weren't feeling sore anymore, too
I swear, some of you guys are killing me with these levels. But I keep going back to them, so I must be a masochist or something.
Anyway, I beat and stared three of Ziggy's levels tonight and I also made a for-fun airship level for you guys to try out:
Just Keep Dashing Airship - FE74-0000-0048-FDCE
Feel free to try to take an alternate route if you want to challenge your reflexes a bit
