We have a finished basement. It's awesome. It's where my game room and my daughter's playroom are located. There's a bathroom down there too. WiFi and cell reception are just fine, though I'm also going to add a line for landline phones sometime within the next month.

Mildly annoyed: my agent texted me that both of the houses I wanted to see tomorrow are sold. That particular suburb has a TON of retail/commercial properties in it that take care of tax revenue for the town, so taxes are low for residential property, so things sell fast

Amused: actually have two showings today, one tomorrow, and one Wednesday for my house. I get the feeling this is going to sell quick. Good thing I can come live with my dad since I can't find my perfect house yet

Love a basement, finished or not. Unfortunately, they are difficult to find east of Raleigh. Too many hurricanes and a high chance of flooding.

Smile: I have the day off. Bruno Mars off. No work of any kind to be done other than drive to a grocery store and pick up a six pack. On top of that, it is gorgeous outside, so I'll be bringing a crt to the patio and enjoy playing Rogue Galaxy (PS2) while my dog enjoys napping on the grass. Today will be Ice Cube.

Frown: The Florida Gator's FB head coach is getting ripped for cursing and screaming at a player. That's what coaches do when you think a player could possibly cost you the game. The player's Father even said "It's to be expected".

What's even worse is the racial spin people are putting on it stating "You see it everyday, an old rich white man screaming at a young black man". During that same game ECU's black coach Ruffin also screamed at his white QB, but that isn't a catchy headline.

I once had a boss call me into his office after a meeting. As soon as I entered he punded his fists on his desk and screamed "Luke, that was the worst presentation I've seen in my life! This should be an exit interview!". He didn't curse, but he did yell loud enough to the point where other employees heard every word.

Around a week later he told me he was only trying to motivate me. It worked. I did work harder, and I still thank him for his outburst.

Contemplating on how to make the pavers level while also wondering if I need a new pair of shoes. Also, checking if I still have that mustard stain on my shirt.

Clearly a photoshop; the guy in the picture is wearing a t-shirt so I know it's not you. You shopped off the fingers, huh?

The Nintendo DS has such a low resolution that I can't put a screenshot I want on my blog without looking like crap, grr

Neck Tie + Grill = Disaster

That is no mere "T-Shirt". That is my lucky King's Gyro's shirt that I've worn on every one of my stand up shows. This pic is from my first show, and I still adore how happy everyone looks:

Sounds weird, and a bit crazy, but putting on that t-shirt makes me feel a bit closer to Chicago. Need to pony up and get a new one though, as, well, pit stains.

Usually hate pictures of me, but my upper body looks pretty decent in this one. Probably because I can't see my face. ;)

Thanks duder! I basically did exactly what the site suggests, but perhaps it takes time to "settle". I'm hoping the paver mat will help with that.

I've run into the same problem. Maybe just snag some shots from GameFAQs or MobyGames? I can't think of any better alternatives. I'm eagerly awaiting the Retron 5 Game Gear attachment as that will finally allow for some decent GG screenshots without resorting to PC emulation.

Reminds me - I spent about 90 minutes fiddling with an uncooperative capture card last night, trying desperately to get screenshots from... Hydlide. Eventually I just gave up, I don't think the thing is compatible with my OS.

I drove by Men's Warehouse today and thought, "I wonder if Luke shops here...... Nah, he probably has his own personal tailor."

Men's Warehouse...The store when you first enter you wish you never agreed to being a groomsman.

I own two suits from MW, both Egaras, and unless you catch a day where MW isn't having a sale, in total (three piece) they run around $700-800. The jackets are available in slim/active fit, and the single breast, two button, is pretty classic. The top button falls perfectly, and the matching pants are also swell. Flat front, no cuffs, smooth as silk, and you'd have to ride in a roller coaster to put a wrinkle in them.

...but I do have a personal tailor. I suggest if you plan on investing in a suit, see one.

I've got a weird frame, and I have a hard time finding nice clothes that fit me. My shirt is a 15 and a half, 34/35. I can't go to a department store or Van Huesen outlet that has that size, that also doesn't look like a parachute on me. You also can't simply buy a shirt and put the buttons in different places to tighten the shirt (I've tried. I've failed).

Same with jackets and sport coats.

Plus, the world wouldn't be as cool of a place if we didn't have tailors. Bunch of hunched over Italian immigrants with large glasses and a yellow tape measure around their neck complaining about how bad the Yankee's are playing.
