I'd assume a level would only get deleted if it has low ratings (stars, completions) and goes unplayed for a long time.

Or, you know, if you spell out obscenities with blocks and draw male genitalia with coins. That sort of thing.

Yeah they mention that if it isn't a very popular one that after a long time it will disappear so to make sure to keep a backup.

Also, my stars just skyrocketed. I went to warm up some leftover tacos and they jumped up from 48 to 59. YAY! I got the second medal! Time to continue the epic journey of Waluigi!

You're welcome!

I just played through all your levels and starred them.

The comment I left on your Sonic level is referencing this thread, if you forgot about it.

Overall, great job man! They were a lot of fun to play!

One tip for Waluigi... Instead of putting the first Mystery Mushroom in a block, why not just force it on the player as soon as the level starts? By that I mean, place the mystery mushroom right on the player start tile or in a way that it collides with the player before they have a chance to move.

I am giving you an amazing internet hug at this moment! Thank you for playing them man and I am glad you enjoyed them! I knew the moment that I got the underwater levels and the ability to change the level's timer that I HAD to do a short Sonic level with a tiny timer. GOTTA GO FAST!

As for the Waluigi tip, I will definitely do that. I didn't even think to do that before, so when I unlock everything and make some edits to the levels before reuploading I will definitely do that! I can't wait to get the warp pipes!

Reprise, if you're also wondering why you just got a punch of stars it's because I played and starred most of your levels.

Yeah, check out Reprise's Adventure of Link level, he forces a Link Mystery Mushroom on your at the start, you have no choice but to be Link.

As for unlocking everything, you can easily speed that up if you want to. Whenever it tells you "X will be arriving tomorrow" just save and return to the U menu. Adjust the date one day ahead, and relaunch the game. When you go into create mode, the game thinks it's the next day so it unlocks X. Play as normal until you get the next "X is arriving tomorrow" message, and repeat until everything is unlocked. Don't forget to reset your date in the U menu when you're done.
I am giving you an amazing internet hug at this moment!
Feel free to pay me back in stars.

Not that I'm asking for free stars... Don't give me one if you don't feel like the level earned it... But be sure to tell me why so I can improve!

Oh yeah, don't you worry Ziggy, I am paying it forward. I have starred everyone's works except the most recent of yours and the most recent of reprises, but I will be fixing that later this evening!

I am spreading the love, because I want people to be able to upload more levels and I want people to improve and be better level designers. We are all in this crazy game together and it can only do good to give people's levels a chance and let them know how you feel. Not only does it help them, but it helps yourself by learning the tricks of the trade.

Like you mentioned Ziggy, Reprise used the mushroom trick to make you link from the get go, which I will definitely be incorporating. Playing one of Flake's levels taught me the trick to sue flying question mark boxes as obstacles, which I think really gave a struggling level a little something something to improve it.

There is so much to learn in this game! I am loving it!

Thanks for the stars guys.

I loved your practice level, Ziggy. It was was really aesthetically pleasing to the eye, as well as being fun to play.

"Practice 2" or "Practice Castle"?

I had "Practice 1" up there briefly, but I deleted it (it really wasn't good).

I just made a new SMW level that I think is pretty good. It's above/below ground. Most of the level is below ground, but you start and finish above ground as well as pop up for a few secrets. I'm using hidden 1-up mushrooms as pseudo star coins, there's 3 in each of my levels.

There's also some "troll" secrets lol. If you're the type of person to hunt every square inch of a level, you'll find some areas that are actually not accessible, they're just there to tease you.

It's finished, but I'm hesitant to upload it. I know I might end up going back and tweaking some things, but then I'd have to delete the old one to upload the new one, and the level would loose any status it gained.

edit: I just uploaded it. It's called Underground Fun.

I really ENJOYED this level! It was really really good and really felt like a Mario level. This level feels the most full featured out of all the levels I have played and it really had a lot to see and do and explore. There was a great secret pipe which led to an enormous gap. I JUST made it, but man it was close. Really well done!

Awesome man, thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I want all of my levels to be fun like this.

It was a lot of fun to try and make a level that was fun to play AND have secrets that are fun to find. I really wanna do more of that sort of thing.
