Guys (and girls), don't forget to PM me your level codes so I can add them to the first post!

I woke up and killed my Gamepad's battery, so I'm gonna use the Pro Controller and try and play all of you guys' levels while I wait for the Gamepad to charge back up to full.

This morning I went on the Nintendo Store and purchased the extended life battery, and also picked up the U disc drive cleaner while I was ordering. Can't wait for it to come in!

soooo...do I need Amiibos for anything at all? Is there a way to unlock all the creation stuff easily and quickly, including what Amiibos might offer/add?

If I am missing out on anything bc I like video games but do not ridiculously expensive ugly plastic video game toys, I am gonna be steamed :x

Yeah, that was my thoughts EXACTLY. Turns out, all an Amiibo does is unlock a costume. So, they're pretty pointless anyway. But, you can unlock them (one at a time) by beating the 100 Mario Challenge. The only Amiibo you need for something that can't be unlocked without it is the 30th Anniversary Mario Amiibo to get a Mega Mushroom.

Only the pixel mario amiibo unlcoks something exclusive, and it's pretty minor overall. The other Amiibo just speed up the process of unlocking all the costume.

I know you picked up Splatoon too. That does have exclusive content connected to the amiibo - special missions where you play single player levels with a different weapon or a limited amount of ink which unlocks a few pieces of gear and a mini game or two. The gear isn't particularly special in terms of stats, it's just an exclusie design.

Everything is unlockable in game except the Big Mushroom, which does require the 30th anniversary amiibo. All that does is make mario able to break all brick types, give enemies mario mustaches and make the screen look like a CRTV.

The CRT TV thing is available without the Mega Mushroom using a button combo too.

Thanks man! to be fair, I've spammed more uploads than you. A couple of my first levels were crappy, but earned the odd star that helped build my overall level, despite later deleting and replacing them.

Yeah, you definitely can see the progression in your levels. They have gotten a whole lot better and are really fun and challenging now! I like them and you can only get better so I can't wait to see what you do!

I am so confused as to why some of my levels are rated the way that they are. I feel like putting secrets and little hidden rewards in your level go unnoticed as people make mad dashes to unlock everything.

I wonder what happens for the 100 Mario challenge when you unlock everything. Will people still play it?

I did read in the manual that over time, Nintendo may delete your levels, but I feel that will be much farther down in the games life.
