I cheated (set the date ahead) to unlock Mario World so I could make a level that I had an idea for...

Spin Jump to Freedom (medium difficulty): B761-0000-002E-9276

edit: Scratch that. I uploaded the easy version: FB33-0000-002E-E6FA

Medium and Hard versions to follow. :D

I'm picking this and Splatoon up in an hour or so...

I am excited about making levels but...really? Fricking long alphanumeric codes?!? In 2015? Nintendo is the worst. So ass backwards. :x

yeah that baffles me. Is there no way to like just browse your friends list for levels made by each friend?

Nope, don't think so. Nintendo really don't know how to do online.

You can follow players though, so once you've found one person's level by typing in the code, you just hit the follow button and you can play their levels whenever you want, as they're updated without typing in any codes.

For those wondering about the medal requirements, I just read the following:

1 star = 1 medal (10 uploads)
50 stars = 2 medals (20 uploads)
150 stars = 3 medals (30 uploads)

And I don't know the rest. Each medal represents 10 uploads.

Anyone reached above the initial 10 uploads? I'm at 46, so hopefully if the above is right, I might reach 20 uploads soon(ish).

did you buy it from best buy? cause if you buy Mario maker (this week and last week) you can save $20 off Splatoon (or another select titles). With my GCU I got Mario maker and splatoon for my niece and nephew for $85 after tax.

Excellent! I am 3 Stars away from hitting 50 and I never uploaded my max number of levels yet.

P.S. here is my, "Pandering to the crowd," level Sonic's Underwater Panic, which is an underwater level starring Sonic...so you know how those go!

The code is (52DF-0000-002D-DF41)! Enjoy!

I will definitely check it out as soon as I can. I love putting coins in places that offer risk vs. reward situations for players. From the look at the death locations, people try to grab them.

EDIT: Just beat your level, but I couldn't comment on it for some reason on the miiverse. Strange. Loved it and I played it safe and just hugged the right wall. Also, did you see the creator of Rayman's version of this that he made Miyamoto play on stage? It was pretty cool as well! Loved it though! Keep it up. you have been starred and followed.

I also noticed my completion rate for most levels is around the 20%-30%. I wonder if that is high or low. I think a lot of people, when playing the 100 mario challenges just skip the level the first time they die to speed through them. Who knows! What is everyone elses percentages?
