Amiibo!!

Managed to get the four I wanted online from Walmart last night. (Thank you, Walmart.) Didn't really care one way or another about Dr. Mario (which still seems to be available at Target in case anyone is looking) or Bowser Jr., as I just don't care about him. (But if they make a Larry or a Mort, I'll be all over those buggers.)

From what I've read online, it looks like 8-bit Mario and Ganondorf are the more sought after, and thus currently harder to find. So if anyone is still looking for those, Amazon is putting one amiibo up an hour starting at 4pm EST:

I had to go to three different stores to get what I was looking for.

There was only a line at one store to which I didn't feel like standing in since I'd heard about the very low 8Bit Mario numbers. Rolled in to Target, they had a single Dr.Mario left out of everything they got. Grabbed that and then stood out side of a Game Stop that no one goes to get my hands on 8Bit Mario. They had no idea anything was coming out today so they had to dig in the back to find the box the shipment came in.

Toys R Us was way over stocked with Bowser Jr. So no problem getting that.

I wouldn't mind another 8bit mario but happy to have gotten one.

A couple of friends pitched in and bought me Captain Olimar, 8-bit Mario, Ganondorf, and Zero Suit Samus as a get well gift since I was just in the hospital for the past four days. They also found me a Splatoon 3-Pack. Nice guys they are.

That Samus is badass. But I dont plan to own a WiiU.

Actually was able to get Zero Suit Samus and Ganondorf from Target on Friday, brings my Amiibo count to the grand total of 11.

Have not had to stand in line for any of these, or pay more than retail price, would have more if not for scalpers and the limited quantity that Nintendo puts out.

I was able to snag Ganondorf, Olimar, and Zero Suit Samus. I did see that some stores got a few more of the Splatoon amiibo, the individuals and packs. I didn't have enough on me to buy the 3-pack. But it's nice to see more coming.

Had no chance to go looking for store exclusives, and I didn't see a single 30th Anniversary Mario.

Is Shovel Knight out yet?

My Walmart was stocked with Samus, Ganondorf and Olimar. Each one had between 8-12 stocked on the shelf. I was kind of impressed.

No 8-bit Mario to be seen, though. Except those that come with the Wii U bundle.
