If your wife picked them out for you, they probably look great. If she is anything like my wife, she knows what looks flattering on you, and that is probably why she picked some particular frames. And if that's not enough to convince you, you can post a picture in the mug thread and we'll be happy to tell you whether you look stylish or you look like someone who had their wife pick out their glasses for them.prfsnl_gmr wrote:If your wife picked them out for you, they probably look great. By "proctology exam" do you mean a physical rectal exam, or a sit down written exam quizzing you on the inner workings of your anus?BoneSnapDeez wrote: I suppose seeing your spouse for something like a proctology exam could get awkward.
Not sure which one would make me more uncomfortable.
I don't know many people who actually like their glasses, and they're all nuts. I also know a few people who have sunglasses with white frames, and they're certifiably insane.
You should watch the Full House episode "Stephanie gets Framed". Really, you should. It's the only episode of Full House where Steve Urkel is a guest star.

Or it could be part of a devious plot to keep women away from Bone.prfsnl_gmr wrote:If your wife picked them out for you, they probably look great. I like my glasses too. And I think a proper set of frames can really up the attractive level of people.

While I normally wear contacts, I keep threatening my wife that I am going to order a pair of 60s NASA scientist glasses or pink cateye ones. She hates both styles and pink, so it is a triple whammy.

Glasses are a cranial accessory that rarely do anything for me other than me wanting for the glasses to be taken off.MrPopo wrote: And I think a proper set of frames can really up the attractive level of people.
If you are at a bar and a guy takes off his watch, it usually means a fight is about to happen. If you are at a bar and a woman takes off her glasses, it usually means someone is going home at getting lucky.
Due to genetics and my dome, I don't think I can ever find frames that would enhance my attractiveness (which may be impossible in the first place). And unless a girl does that thing where they drop their glasses to check you out, I don't like sunglasses on women. I like beautiful eyes, and I like to know what they are focusing on.
Those wearing faux glasses can faux off.
Smile: This weekend will be nard ball crazy.
Frown: No one wakes up in a good mood at 2am. And if you are in a relationship and both people are woken up at 2am, a nonsense fight will ensue.

See, if I see an attractive girl and then she puts on a pair of glasses that instantly ups the hotness.

To each his own.MrPopo wrote:See, if I see an attractive girl and then she puts on a pair of glasses that instantly ups the hotness.
I usually find an attractive woman more attractive when she starts takings off.
Usually.
We all have our own idea of what beauty is, but for the definition of beauty is that "she looks as beautiful in the morning as she did last night". By that I mean that a woman who doesn't need to try to look sexy, is sexy. No need for make-up, no need for special hair styles, no need for special shoes or clothes...she's fine as hell without make-up and waking up butt naked with unwashed hair.
Not "dirty hippy" style, simply a woman who wakes up early in the morning and you are still thinking "wow".
I have great gal pals with great souls and no brains that make announcements of "Tonight I'm going to look sexy!. To their credit, they pull the sexy look off, but look a bit like tramps. They're also misleading dudes with all the make up, spanks (which they don't need), and those fake boob thingies girls put in their bras.
Get it. Dudes do like to see more skin. Myself, I like pretty and nice women who don't require make up and have a ntural glow to them.
... For all I know all of my gf's have lied to me about not wearing make-up.

And here I thought beauty was simply qualities in something that give the viewer pleasurable senses. Be it a person, place, or thing. Beauty is not a term specifically used to describe women, despite what marketing tells you. At the end of the day it is all subjective anyway. Some people think Jaime Pressly is to beautiful to talk to, and I think she has a bit of a horse face.
