Image Link Dump Thread.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Not really they are just not retro videogames, I like the marketing actually!

I've been trying to scoop up all the "classic" board games for my daughter.

Note that the newer Hasbro versions of some of these games are complete ass in terms of quality.

I'd recommend everyone grab some family, set aside a Friday night, scrabble board with some refreshments to your liking and enjoy!

I've gotten a lot of older board games at thrift stores. Metal (or wood) gaming pieces, hard game boards, thick playing cards...I have no regrets.

I find that many thrift store games are missing pieces though. :? That's my only issue.

It's like rummy, but with tiles instead of cards and you can play off of other peoples tiles.

I so much prefer Rummy 500 or Gin Rummy with cards.

I didn't mean to imply it was stupid or anything. I just find it funny that while I think of Sonic the Hedgehog and Bionic Commando as retro games, someone else (presumably the person behind this marketing) thinks of Twister and Rumikub. I like the marketing as well.

I gotcha. I've run into that problem myself. Luckily my stores get in a lot of board games.
