I'm a little mad about my GameStop store that I go to. Went and found a nice copy of data east collection for the Wii at another store. Ask the clerk if they can send it to my store and the clerk said no problem.
Called my store and not only did I give the store number but I have the phone number and the clerks name. My store said no problem I'll call right now. It's been two weeks and nothing. They didn't get data east nor the other games I requested.

I doubt thye store even telephoned or maybe the other store forgot?

For a game transfer between stores, best to do it in person at the store you want it sent to. This way you can personally see the employee make the phone call and confirm to ship CIB. Weekday mornings are the best time since both stores will be less busy. Bring a list of a couple backup stores you searched at the Gamestop site in case the first store can't find it.

You all, check this one out. Perhaps GameStop isn't all that bad:

Guy unboxes Bubble Bobble 2 from their online site. It ends up being complete in box.

Related Reddit Thread:

Right now they have a promotional code that takes 16% off all used games, which applies to the Retro Classics selection. Code is CAG16, and works also with your Power Rewards Pro perks.

I just ordered:
Heavy Metal Geomatrix
D2
Elemental Gimmick Gear
Fur Fighters
Silver

Subtotal before discounts: $132
With Discounts: $111.83 with $5.00 shipping.

If the items are any good when I receive them, I'll post. If they're not what I'm wanting (Loose Disc Copies) I'll send them back and get my money back.

Sounds Good, but isn't there no way to know if you are getting disc only or complete? Seems like a big gamble for disc based games.

Edit: just read your entire post. NVM

Wow go gamestop. Not raping for paper, it's the old days again half way. :D Good for that dude, he totally lost it, but I guess who wouldn't when you paid what you did, then get that in the bottom of the box. I recently gave that up for Pinbot and 3 weeks ago this indoor troll at the flea market got that game, cart only, asking $300 firm with no negotiation. It'll be there a long time. :D (or until they ebay it.)

It's a solid game, but I never played it much, same with Bonk, yet the Famicom games do tempt. :)

So I wanted to follow up on my post. I paid $111.83 for two rare Dreamcast titles, Elemental Gimmick Gear and D2, and three uncommon games, Silver, Heavy Metal Geomatrix, and Fur Fighters.

Here's what I got:

Everything packed nice in sturdy packaging. Games bagged.

Little dull on the D2 case but nothing I can't clean up. $34.01 for a complete copy of this game is a great deal IMO.

All the games did in fact come complete. No scratches on any of the discs, and no hints that the discs themselves had been resurfaced. Tested and all work great.

I'm personally very pleased to get these well under the eBay rates. Because Dreamcast stuff has really started to get pricey. If you've been on the fence about Gamestop's Classic Gaming venture, I'd vouch for them and give it a shot if you've been on the sidelines thus far. There's always their return policy.

Nice Blu!
Love EGG, that game always makes me want to get a Dreamcast again. (Even though I can only get as far as a half hour in till I'm stuck lol)

I believe they are going by Green Gadgets on EBay as well. Can't knock a good deal but that's about all they are good for.

I went and canceled my Lego Jurassic Park for the Vita the other day since its been months and I still havent got it, but picked up a copy or Dark Souls with the refund plus some change. They guy behind the counter was arguing with me that the game was too hard and I was like well not Nintendo hard and of course him being a "professional" said Nintendo games were easy. :/

He actually wanted to go back and forth about it, but I just wanted my money back so I was happy.

Edit: Not all, but why most of them are tools like that I wonder?

Thanks guys! I was quite relieved to see how great of condition they are in. Only too fitting that I got them the day before Dreamcast's birthday.

If you're feeling like rolling the dice and trying it out:
1. If the game has the case/jewel in the thumbnail on Gamestop's site, that's more likely you'll get a complete copy. I believe others have experienced the same.
2. If it's a cart/disc thumbnail, that's what you're going to get, for certain.
