I have a vectorized image of the ultra 64 logo. also, it didn't seem like it would pop out in my model when I dismantled it, but I'll look again. The only other real 64 mod is rewireing the RGB cable, and that's to possibly get a better picture. Other than that, the mod's are stuff like overclocking.

You can just burn copies of the game instead, by copying the disk to the xbox's HD, then FTPing the image to your PC. After that, you just burn the image and play it on your modded xbox.

xbox jewel replacements are fairly straight forward, and if you really wan't to go overboard, you can add LED's.

You can also mod the controller jewel.

I wouldn't go with the earlier xbox models, mainly the 1.0's because they are know to have problems with the DVD drive. However, some one said 1.6's required soldering, however there are solderless options available(usually in the 20-30$ range) Also, I would suggest the older xecuter X2, it's around...

Any experience replacing nintendo jewels?
Yes, this is a kinda odd question... Anyway, does anyone know how to remove the nintendo 64 jewel-that is the big logo on the front of the console. My reasoning for doing this is so I can replace it with a ultra 64 jewel, as seen on the origional prototypes. http://assemblergames.com/wiki/dogatemysn...

PSX as in the first playstation, right? Not the PSX only released in japan. Anyway, there are several issues with the PS1, namely overheating and the laser going out of whack. You might wan't to try standing them vertically(ps2 style) as that's been known to help. There are other solutions as well, ...

Well one game no one has heard of, let alone play is Rocket: Robot on Wheels for the N64. Sucker Punch's first game(makers of sly cooper) was very innovative and origional for it's time, and it should at least be checked out by everybody-the only problem is the game is rather rare http://ign64.ign.c...
