Alright, I have a model 2 I need modded but I've never soldered a thing in my life. Is a solder bridge the kind of thing that it's fairly easy to nuke the chip if I fuck it up?

Obviously the VS Pro is the best with its LS-32 goodness and so on (also beyond expensive), but is there a good arcade stick for this system otherwise? I suppose I could just go the converter route but I'd like to get a decent Saturn stick otherwise. I have the American Virtua Stick, it's horrible.
