Re: Streaming music
I had a CD player in my old car. Got a new one recently so that's not an option but I prefer digital files anyway. I actually used one of those ghetto FM modulators for a few years. It was cheaper than burning CD's at that point. A lot of my vinyl and cassettes that I purchase from bandcamp come wit...

Re: What are you playing?
"I'll just play a couple of stages of Golden Axe 3" I told myself. Golden Axe 3 has been on my to-beat list for a while. I usually play as the cat man or the other grizzly looking guy. I chose the lady character this morning. I made it to the last stage. Well from now on I'm going to play ...

Streaming music
I'm old-school and out-of-touch I suppose. Whenever I ride in a car with someone they usually use a streaming service for music. It's their choice but it seems to be a poor one. There are frequent ads, straight up horrible songs, and songs that repeat. Also, I have noticed that the sound quality is ...

I'm not an overly-huge fan of them but the Psyvariar games had the risk vs reward mechanic of grinding off enemies for higher scores. I like that approach... not "OOPS TOUCHED THE WALL!".

Re: What's your personal pet peeve in gaming?
Gonna do a bit of a necro-bump. This has always ticked me off. I cannot stand shmups that kill you when touching the border of the play field or environment. Its mostly older games that do this. It's especially bad on Konami games wherein you change your speed. Suddenly you go from an open area to t...

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Lol. Never thought I'd see the anakin/padme meme with golden axe characters.
At least in the Genesis version, you kind of need those death pits at the end. The final boss is a pain and you need all of your lives.

Re: Castlevania Appreciation Thread
Yeah, I legit don't remember other anime cutscenes from Rondo but most of my experience with Rondo has been the PSP version (and now the PS4 port of said version). So it makes since I don't remember other scenes if they exist in the original. I know I've played some of the original Rondo on an emula...

Re: Castlevania Appreciation Thread
You know, Ziggy, you could just put the... art of the Castlevania box as your avatar. I finally got around to picking up the Castlevania Requiem collection. The store got some standard editions in stock so I got one of those instead of dealing with a huge box. The standard edition came with a ...

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Hey, Gucci. Do you have a Wii U? Monster Hunter 3U has this save data transfer app (which I'm assuming can be downloaded via homebrew by now) which transfers your save data between systems. Although, at this point you'd probably have to mod a Wii U if you didn't download that either. lol Either way;...

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
I got a new car recently. I didn't want to but my rust bucket was starting to have issues and I didn't want to put any more money into it. The dealership was really trying to push a used car (the previous year's model with 70k miles) for more than the new model . Literally the only difference betwee...
