Re: SwanCrystal worth the extra money?
Not sure I get your question. If you are keen on retro computers from Japan, than Yahoo Auction is the place to be. The alternative is to pay higher price via a seller from Japan that happens to sell on ebay or use a 3rd party that buys on your behalf on Yahoo Auction. Yahoo Auction has hurdles to b...

Re: SwanCrystal worth the extra money?
Japan has no ebay. Yahoo is the #1 auction site. Japanese only though. Most sellers don't ship overseas. And payment is via a Japanese CC, or convienance store or Japanese bank.
There are 3rd party sites that will buy products for you for a fee.

Re: Tandy Color Computer - A Brief Introduction
Thank you for covering the CoCo. Ugly grey? Some people love their battleship grey Under Color Computer 2, you may want to add that the initial version had a 'melted' keyboard and it was later switched out to a more full-travel design. Under OS9, might want to add that it was rewritten/released as &...

Re: SwanCrystal worth the extra money?
Old post but also jumping in.... Yahoo Auction has tons of WonderSwan systems for sale. I had a chance to buy like 5 systems for $40. When I came back from Japan I bought one system and some BW and Color games. Sold off the system but got 'stuck' with the games (as in, no system now to play them..) ...

Re: Wonderswan Original (mono) forward compatable?
I picked up a WonderSwan in Japan... thought they would be more popular for fans of Japanese systems in the USA. The systems are everywhere on the Japanese auction sites and very cheap. I came back to the states and sold my system but the guy didn't buy any of the games I had. LOL. So now I'm stuck ...

Re: I got a Colecovision Adam
I remember when it came out and the critics panned it so hard because of the design of the PSU through the printer. It was a nice looking machine though.

Re: How's your TurboGrafx 16/PC Engine Going on
I picked up tons of PC Engine Japanese games in Japan. Now I am waiting for my system to come over. Also got a few controllers. Looking forward to finally playing on a 'real' PC Engine. Thought the HU Card games were very reasonable in price.
