Re: Thoughts/experiences on ordering from Limited Run Games?
SOoooooo..... I got on board with LRG back with their first release - Saturday Morning RPG. I "lucked" into what they were doing by catching some random newsfeed article about it the week of the Saturday Morning RPG release. At the time I felt it was something really special and I was orde...

Re: Figure/Toy Collecting Thread
Great thread. I've been all-in on the Transformers Studio Series releases related to the animated movie. I swore off Transformers years ago, but those are probably as close as we will get to "definitive" and affordable Transformers from that movie. I dropped out of Transformers as a kid sh...

Re: Street Fighter Questions
I've always wanted a great "fighting stick". I used to be fine with a D-Pad back in the SNES days and then one day - some point after Tekken 3 - something happened where I lost the ability and interest completely to play fighting games on a standard controller. I have barely touched a figh...

I like a lot of the glamour stuff associated with the Parasite Eve franchise - not so much the gore stuff.

I've been listening to a lot of The Naked & Famous lately when I'm out and about. At home, the Brioni Faith YouTube channel has been live streaming a lot of her Trance/Industrial dance stuff, so I leave that on in the background now and again.

Re: Retro game music appreciation page
I've always had a fondness for the opening theme song from the Silver Surfer NES game. It had the catchy, sort of epic rock-dance beat as the notes progressed down the scale and then back up again. I haven't heard it in years, but I can still hear it in my head. Such a unique game too - basically a ...

Re: November Together Retro: Working Designs
I started Alundra for PS1 today! I'm playing it on a CRT which is an absolute delight. I've only *just* started the game: I was on a boat, had a dream, and am now in a village. And right off the bat, I was reminded about how good Working Designs writing is. I know a lot of modern gamers don't appre...

Re: Save States
Years and years ago when emulation became a "thing" I made a DVD with several Nintendo systems on it, and more ROMS than I can count. Trying to be clever, I made a label for the DVD that said "NES - Nintendo Emulation System" and that was my excuse to pour over all sort of games ...
