Re: How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?

Well, you worded it in a way that wasn't clear either way, so I asked if you had a build from 2000. But either way, bsnes is worth checking out. Fair enough, mate. No worries! Sounds like it your SNES that is having the issues not your games, seems like way too much of a coincidence that multiple g...

They only read into it what you wrote. Then; many offered polite / generous assistance. Knowing this community and the problem you've elaborated; I bet many will again try to help you. With the above response though, I won't be one of them. Well, you did overlook the part where someone thought I st...

Re: Knights of the Round (One Life Challenge) SNES

This game had a lot of potential, but the sloppy controls and unbalanced difficulty always made going through it a pain.

Still, that's a great accomplishment on your part.

Re: Together Retro: Grandia

Excellent game. I started playing it exactly a year ago, and it was a rewarding experience throughout. My only gripes are the awkward camera angles and easy battles, but its replay value remains high for me. If anyone's looking for a similar game, I'd recommend Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals . Ano...

Re: How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?

Eh, some of you read too much into what I said. Let me explain: Most of my cartridges only work for about ten or twenty minutes before the screen freezes up again. I've tried cleaning them all to the best of my ability, but no dice. I don't really worry too much about save batteries, since most of t...

Re: How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?

Most of my Super Nintendo games no longer work, but emulation has done so many wonders. So glad I downloaded ZSNES way back in 2000. If not for the blissful ignorance of my childhood, I would've saved all of my boxes. On the plus side, I still have most of the instruction manuals, although very few ...

Re: What RPG are you playing right now?

The patch may be downloaded here.

It's really not that bad of a game, but it does suffer a bit from being a Dragon Quest clone. The visuals and battle system are all neat, however.

Re: USB controller for PC gaming?

Fuck imitation USB controllers. Those never performed well for me.

I hook up my original Super Nintendo and PlayStation controllers to their respective adapters.

Re: Metal Heads Assemble!!

Battle at Helm's Deep is simply amazing. I already have the original vinyl.

The other albums are also excellent, which includes their last one from 2013.

Re: Metal Heads Assemble!!

USPM is probably my favorite kind of metal. Got some classic Attacker playing in the background.
