Old Atari games (and maybe prototypes). Are they valuable?
Hello Friends, The mom of one of my best friends just found these old Atari games in her storage room. Her former husband worked at Atari in the good old days and these games come from there. She is now in a situation where she could use some money and I would like to help her put everything on eBay...

Re: I am in Japan, which system should I buy?
Just received the game you sent. Thankyou! I sent you a PM. This forum is simply great! If you followed briefly this thread, you have seen that CRTGamer asked me to get a game for him while I was in Tokyo. I found the game and, back home, I shipped the game to him. He asked me "how much do I o...

Re: The Adventures of the Pink Panther for Colecovision Prot
Now this will drive you crazy. When I was a kid my dad worked at CBS Italy and he was the director of the video games section. He brought me all the video games they were selling at that time, Intellivision and Colecovision. Well, I am 99% sure that I still have at home a couple of cartridges with n...

Re: I am in Japan, which system should I buy?
Hello Friends, I just wanted to update you! I followed the advice of some other friends here or on Reddit and I went to visit Mandarake Galaxy in Nakano Broadway. First of all, this place is A-MAZING! Entering into Mandarake Galaxy is like entering into a museum. They have tons of retro gaming stuff...

Re: Been trying to build on my collection having bad luck..
And that sounds like it sucks right? But its actually great! Know why? Because when I find a SNES or N64 SPORTS game I get excited. Yeah, I get excited when I find sports games. But when I found Sonic Adventure CIB for 50 cents I went crazy! So I take nothing for granted and I enjoy that! But maybe...

However, a friend of mine was cleaning out his closet last week and he called me up to say he found an NES SMB/Duck Hunt cart with my initials scribbled on the back, and sure enough it's my cart from when I was like 4 or 5 years old Needless to say, I'm happy to have it back. Do you still have your...

You can never go wrong with a Gameboy. It's small and portable so it will be easy to bring back home and has an infinite library of games and they are not region locked if I remember correctly. I know you were looking at Colors, but it might be worth your time to get a SP, it's the most universal G...

Re: I am in Japan, which system should I buy?
Thanks a lot to everyone for the feedback! An update on my journey in the magical retro gaming world I have visited Super Potato now three times, also their location in Ikebukuro (smaller but even more packed with stuff) and I have thought about my goals. Let me have your thoughts on this and forgiv...
