Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
I will be getting it once it is cheaper and there are more games for it. There just aren't enough games I want for it right now. What can I say, I'm a pretty cheap guy. No you're not cheap, more like being prudent in that regard. I wish I had more patience that way as well. No, I'm just too poor!

Replacing SNES Game Battery
Hello all, I recently purchased a SNES console, as well as several other games. All of them work fine, except for Super Metroid. When I get past the opening scene, the console attempts to load the first level. Instead, Samus spawns in with 0 energy and instantly dies. I have researched this problem ...

Re: Connecting Consoles To PC Monitor
What you can do is get a DIY Scaler Kit from Arcade forge. It has Component in, so you can use the necessary cables for that. For older consoles, you are going to want to make RGB cables, or get the sync strike with the DIY Scaler kit, and track down the appropriate SCART cables (Gamecube RGB scart...

GBA SP Power Problems
Hello everyone, I recently upgraded from the frontlit GBA SP(AGS-001?) to the backlit one(AGS-101?). I am definitely glad I did, it makes a world of difference! My problem is that the handheld randomly seems to turn off. It seems to do this whenever it feels like it. Sometimes it will work flawlessl...

Re: Connecting Consoles To PC Monitor
I will probably be using it for the Wii and PS2. Anything that has a decent resolution and won't look bad. So you'll just want some device that takes component -> VGA. I think you should have better results with that...the composite/s-vid scalers sold for under $50 display like ass in my experance....

Re: Connecting Consoles To PC Monitor
I was looking for a way to connect some consoles to my computer monitor. Anapan has the correct idea, spend moneys. OR you can buy a $10 13" CRT from Goodwill. If you're lucky, on the next bulky item trash pick-up day in your neighborhood, you can go hunting. This topic comes up a lot on retro...

Re: Connecting Consoles To PC Monitor
Huh. No luck finding my Composite-SCART adaptor so I can't test the GBS-8220's Composite ability. I know my CSY-2100 SCART to Component adapter does pass the signal through, but it's just a transcoder. If I have time, I'll look for it more tomorrow. If you put the price in euros into google (minus ...

Re: Connecting Consoles To PC Monitor
I got the full set from ArcadeForge - $95.00 USD for the GBS8220 (enclosure and power supply) + $50 for the Sync Strike (SCART input to the GBS8220) + $65 the SLG3000 Plus S&H from Europe. They now sell the full set for $221. I didn't know that Arcadeforge didn't make the GBS8220 themselves at ...
