Re: Share one of your best gaming screen shots every few day
Well, I'm hoping to make my blog a bottomless pit of this stuff (follow the link below! ^_^ ). As for specific pics, I love the Misadventures of Tron Bonne because it's a limitless source for awesome screenshots. Here's one of the servebots robbing a house (more or less :p ). http://i.imgur.com/cQoR...

Re: Nexon Offers To Buy EA
As much as EA could stand to improve, I don't think Nexus are the ones for the job. They just make rather average MMOs, right? If I had to see EA eaten up by another company, I'd prefer Valve or 2K. Oh man, if Valve were to acquire EA I think the universe may implode in a fit of joy, shock, and con...

151 Pokemon by 151 Artists
Saw this floating around the news the other day, and thought it was rather interesting. It's a project where 151 artists have gotten together to draw / paint / whatever the original 151 Pokemon. While I'm not a fan of the games, I thought this was pretty neat. You can see them all here: m And a few ...

Re: What are you playing?
Well, I got the first six Might and Magic games a while ago, so those will be my games of the next few months for consistent play, I reckon. Also futzing around with a random selection of shmups and racing games in between. Fun times.

Re: Nexon Offers To Buy EA
Nexon probably just sees potential in EA's IPs. Not sure how they'd take advantage of them. ME or DA MMO? More online NFS games? Maybe Nexon just seems them as a cheap deal seeing how much EA's stock has dropped over the last while. It's hard for me to wrap my head around such a setup since the two ...

Re: Final Fantasy 7-- over-saturated? Over-rated? You decide
I thought it was decent. It was a PS1 seller for me. :p I do think that some people tend to put it up on a pedestal though. Not sure why that is. Maybe it was a lot of people's first RPG, so they're a little more predisposed to think highly of it? I have no idea. For me it's one of the better instal...

Re: RPG's where you are not a 14 year old emo?
Lots of options for games with interesting adult heroes. Some I would suggest: The Baldur's Gate series The Icewind Dale series Planescape: Torment The Fallout series The Elder Scrolls series The Geneforge games are interesting, albeit very old school in appearance and execution Mass Effect and KotO...

Re: Modern game music
The big studios don't seem to have prominent themes in their music scores anymore, at least not very often. Kind of makes me sad too because I used to love the melodies in games made by Sega, Namco, and the like where they often had melodies that really stood out. Trying to think of some modern day ...

Re: Weird Gaming Associations
Smell is the sense most closely associated with memory, so it makes sense. For me, it's the smell of pipe tobacco and Apple IIe games since my dad used to smoke a pipe when I was a kid, kept his tobacco in the same room as the computer, and the smell was always there a little bit. =/
