Re: I know you hate it, but I have a Vista question.
That is what I like to hear, Im gona look into that. thanks. If that is the only option they will give you, like I said I'd suggest downloading an untouched (OEM/MSDN) Vista w/SP1 DVD image from the pirate bay. Your current serial should work fine with it. You'd be able to download any drivers you ...

Re: I know you hate it, but I have a Vista question.
are you running a 64 bit os? if not, you arent even touching 3 gigs of that ram, and probably 3 of the 4 cores are going unused. reformat, install a 64bit os, and make sure you run an optimization program for your cpu Would be strange for a retail computer with 4GB+ RAM to be sold with a 32-bit ver...

Re: I know you hate it, but I have a Vista question.
Re-format and re-install Windows. Vista isn't your problem...your PC maker is. PC makers load so much crapware on new PCs it is crazy. I can pretty much guarentee your PC will feel lightyears faster after a reformat and fresh install. If your PC maker was to cheap to provide a real Vista re-install ...

Re: Building a New Computer - What capacity power supply?
I don't know what you guys are doing to your PCs but I have never had anything go bad on me, parts or PC-wise. OK a cooling fan started to make noise but other than that, nothing. I use Soyo mobos, Hitachi drives, Pioneer optical, Intel CPUs, Creative sound, ATI video, and Antec cooling parts. I've...

Re: Building a New Computer - What capacity power supply?
Quick question, why are you going with the gtx 260 over the 4870? 4870 is faster in most games and can be found for cheaper; just wondering why you are going with that particular card. I havn't looked to much into the ATI scene these days but, almost every user review of the 4870 complains that the...

Re: Shenue on the Wii?
This would in many ways be a smart move for Sega - and wouldn't require to many resources. Graphics and audio could be left mostly the same (mabey with some enhanced AA and draw-distance and what not with the extra power the Wii has); and Dreamcast already did 480p via VGA. Only thing I could see ad...

Saturn Mission Stick to USB?
As I don't have a computer joystick these days I was wondering if anyone ever tried a Saturn to USB adapter for ths mission stick? I'm curious if it would be detected as a joystick and if you could map the buttons correctly to a PC.

Re: FreeVast is now working for all PS2's
Out of curosity, will any of these patched images work on a PS3?
I have a couple of imports I'd like to get upscaled on my 20GB PS3, but can't since the PS3 is region locked for PS1/PS2 games.

Building a New Computer - What capacity power supply?
So I am building a new computer soon. The one thing I am stuck on is the power supply. I don't want to underpower the thing...yet I don't want to waste money on watts I'm never going to use. My current plans call for the following: -Intel Core 2 Quad Yorkfield 2.83GHz 45 nm / Socket LGA 775 95W -EVG...

Re: Omikron: The Nomad Soul - PC or Dreamcast?
I was mainly thinking of compadibility issues as well. Given that I am migrating to Vista eventually with a new system I might go with the Dreamcast version when I have the time just to save any trouble.
