Re: Favourite 3d platformers?
ctrl+f maximo Thanks Gamerforlife. Not many people talk about the Maximo games but they're both good examples of games that have a high level of difficulty and yet, surprisingly, remain very accessible and perfectly beatable but just about anyone. I too would appreciate a 3rd Maximo but Capcom has a...

Re: Is Japan Behind?
Japan need to keep making games that feel like Japanese games because there version of Western games tend to fall short compared to 'real' Western games. Ganbare Goemon for the win! I love that series. It's a shame Konami has all but abandoned it. I remember playing co-op sessions of the Legend of ...

The documentary format didn't hurt the film but it certainly didn't help it rise above mediocrity. Don't bother. I watched Machete before that and it was a blast! Hilarious, gruesome, ...

Re: any reason to get into the psone?
I never owned too many games for my psone but I can highly recommend the original Silent Hill. Sure, the controls are clunky and the graphics are very primitive but the overall experience is incredibly eerie and very enjoyable. If you're into horror games, you'll love it.

Re: NES or SNES?
I prefer the SNES because I have many fond memories playing games like the Donkey Kong Country games, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Demon's Crest, LTTP, Final Fantasy IV and VI, Chrono Trigger, etc. The NES is great too and my most played game of all time is actually an NES game (Dr. Mario) but...
