Started playing Ninja Gaiden on the NES lately. Only made it to act 3 so far, but a fun game even if it is pretty unforgiving.

Checking out a local game store today, and found an english SoM2 cartridge. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this game never released in NA? Label looked authentic, although I didn't look too close. Did somebody do a run of translated games or something? Are they worth anything?
