Best Commentators/Narrators
So one of the things people love about Super Mario Bros. Wonder was the ongoing commentary of the talking flowers. This got me thinking about other games that are enhanced by ongoing commentary from characters or narrators. I thought about Skullmageddon from Double Dragon Neon, whose personality shines over every part of the game. Portal also comes to mind. What are other good examples?

(that's the Bastion guy)

The Bastion narrator’s voice is just SOOOOO good.
There’s also Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius, though I’ve heard being able to understand the Japanese makes it less interesting and more annoying.

The first one that comes to mind for me is Nigel Carrington doing the voiceover for Dear Esther, just because it's such a big part of the game.
Another that comes to mind is Formula 1 for PS1 - the commentary was a big part of that game as well, and impressed me back in the day.
