Have any of the Silver Falls games gotten physical releases? You've definitely sold me on this series over the last year or so, but I'm a little lost as to where to get started, mostly because it seems to leap around digitally between a variety of different platforms. Getting a physical version for a platform I use regularly would definitely help get me onboard.

Jerrel (the guy who makes the games) really wants to do a physical print, but it's prohibitively expensive for a one man studio, and he has some person issues with the way Special Reserve and Limited Run do business, so he's not willing to do business with them. He's hoping to be able to do a limited physical release of his Game Boy Color game, Galaxy Bound Curse, at some point.
As for where to start, do you have a hacked 3DS or Wii U? If you have a hacked 3DS, I recommend installing the .cia for 3 Down Stars. It's the first game in the series as well as the most "traditional" horror game in the series. I think I mentioned in my review that Ghoul Busters was my first Silver Falls game, so that's not a bad place to start, either. If you don't have a CFW 3DS or Wii U but want to give some of the games a shot without spending money, Galaxy Bound Curse is intended to be a free GBC ROM that's downloadable on the Silver Falls website. There's also Frontier Fighters Mini that's playable in your browser on the website, and if you have a hacked Vita or PlayStation TV, Survive is distributed as a free ROM (although, in case you haven't seen my review for that, it's in a VERY early state and might not be the best first impression).
Feel free to shoot me a DM if you want; I love evangelizing for these games
