As long as they come free with the games, I am all for these worthless pieces of plastic.

Thats the most useless add-on I've ever seen... correction, that AND the "zapper" add-on.

This looks... bad.

The thing that I don't get about the Wii controller -- especially this -- is that most crontrollers work and work very well because of tension. No tension == bad control -- the brain needs a point of reference which the tension creates.

If you're Samba De Amigo cha-chas had speakers instead of beads inside them -- the game would suck. Unless, of course there were lots of little speakers that were not secured to anything inside the cha-chas... that would be ok. Sega probably thought about this and decided beads would be cheaper!

Your point is valid, but I'm not THAT worried because

a) if the game is good, it will give you good visual feedback to replace the tension point of reference
b) Unless you are twisting your torso along the direction you are steering, just twisting your arms produces some noticeable tension that can complete the feedback from the game.
