Gradius Rebirth

Post by ZenLogikos »

Enjoy this horrible preview when, for the umpteenth time, a journalist mentions a shmup's difficulty level:

At least he didn't mention how short it was...

The next time someone mentions unlimited continues, I'll burst out of my brain.

The game itself looks okay, perhaps too easy though. Of course, that's watching videos and not playing it. I don't know why people compare it to SNES level of graphics, the palette is completely different and looks WAY different in general (compare it to Gradius III). It's not like MegaMan 9 which was started on NES dev kits (supposedly).

Also, if anyone says "Oh, it's just a rehash of music and stages from other Gradius games"... you would be right...BUT so are all the other Gradius sequels (except maybe V, but that's a special case).

I'd still buy it if I had a Wii and lived in Japan, but why would I want a Wii? :?

Wow~ I didn't even know that came out. I've been disconnected, lit and fig, since my move and this was the motivation to get my gaming stuff outta boxes and connected up again.
