Upgrading the Nomad LCD screen

Hi,

I have a perfectly-functioning Nomad, and I really love playing it, but the screen quality of the default screen is a little annoying. It blurs, and isn't very sharp, making some of the games' text hard to read, and some games blur so bad that they're hard to play (Ecco II). So I was wondering if anyone had any information about the nomad's screen setup. Is it connected with a standard RGB cable? I was hoping I could take it apart and replace the LCD module with a TFT screen. I was also hoping that I could get some specifications of the Nomad's screen (size, connection type, etc.) so that I could purchase a new module and fit it inside the nomad. If anyone has some information that could help, I'd greatly appreciate it. :)

the stock screen is attached by some proprietary interface. but ive seen projects here and there where they take the screen out and replace it with a small tft panel that utilizes the TV out from the nomad for the signal (like a PS1 screen, portable TV, or something like this: EBAY LINK) . in theory its sounds like itll work. though, i never did see any of them completed.

if you have any modding skills, id go for it! sounds fun!
