Thanks
I was wondering the same thing on CRT moniters and light guns.Ivo wrote:I wanted to get saturn pads to work on the PC and had been looking to get a PC Magic Box. I ordered one just now, let's hope it arrives safely and in good condition. Bonus is it also works with DC pads and PS2 (and maybe also PS1? I'm not sure of that part). Reportedly it has no lag.
I tried to find if it would work with PS2 dance mats but on a site I found it wasn't confirmed. I don't have one though, but it would be nice to know in case I ever see a cheap PS2 dance mat, might be cool to play on the PC with that freeware dance game.
Reportedly it doesn't work with the Saturn 3D pad, which is a shame. I doubt it works with Saturn light guns as well, but who knows (I'm not counting on it, but it's a plus if it does - however I'd need to connect the PC to a CRT monitor* for those).
*I'm not even sure the refreshing of CRT monitors works similar to CRT TVs in order for the light gun to work - does anyone know? If not it's no use even trying.
Ivo.
