Am I shooting myself in the foot?

So the Conroe is just around the corner and I am purchasing a brand new rig for my room and buying some extras for the rig I have to make a server. I want to know if you guys think I'm ripping myself off, if I'm going totally overboard, or if I should actually do more.
Server Rig - Ubuntu LTSP version 6.06 for thin client server and file server
*** - MSI Socket 478 mobo w/ onboard video, 2 SATAI, 10/100 LAN

*** - 80GB WD 7200RPM SATAI main OS HDD
*** - 400W PSU
*** - Samsung DVD-RW drive 8X burn
_45 - iStarUSA S8 Storm Series ATX mid tower (5 external 5.25 bays)

146 - 17" Tyris LCD panel
170 - NETGEAR GS116 16 port 10/100/1000Mbps Switch
_10 - Airnet Gigabit Lan Card PCI
860 - (4X215) 4 WD 500GB 7200ROM SATAII drives (ran RAID 10 for a total of a terrabyte)
Gaming/Personal Rig - This will be in my bedroom for my everyday use
*** - ATX Mid Tower Case
_40 - Rosewill 450W PSU
530 - Intel E6700 Conroe/Core 2 Duo chip clocked at 2.63Ghz
260 - Intel BOXD975XBXLKR Socket T 975X chipset Mobo (a lot of stuff on board)
450 - MSI GeForce 7900GTX 512MB GDDR3 PCI-X 16 (dual DVI/main monitor requires it)
_35 - MSI Geforce 6200TC PCI-X 16 (for secondary monitor)
147 - PQI TURBO DDR2 667 2GB (2X1GB)
_59 - 120GB WD SATAII 7200RPM (main OS drive)
*** - 320GB WD SataI 7200RPM (storage drive)
_59 - Samsung 16X DVD+-R w/ LightScribe
_65 - Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 7.1 PCI
_32 - Thermaltake Silent 775 Socket T Heatsink
146 - 17" Tyris LCD panel (secondary monitor)
147 - Hauppauge MCE500 dual input hardware encoding TV tuner card
2350 - Dell 30" monitor (primary monitor; requires Dual DVI for 2560X1600)
The Audigy2 card is going to be output to a 7X80w amp, 4 of the channels bridged to make 2X150w and 3X80w channels. That will be sent to 2 floor standing speaker for fronts, a center channel hung above the computer and 2 rear speakers in the back of the room. The Sub channel will be sent to a powered sub underneath the desk.
The server rig is going to hold all files. It will have 1000Mbit connection to the gaming rig through the switch, I have another computer in the living room getting 100Mbit connection and 3 thin clients getting 100Mbit in the garage, second bedroom and porch (for music). These rigs are all already owned and paid for, they're mostly old P3 machines except the one in the living room which is a P4 MSI Mega set up.
This rig will cost
$5737 plus shipping
Keep in mind the terrabyte is really necesary... at the moment I have 500GBs of storage data in movies/music/videogame backups and that is going to increase very soon.
