$59.40 is a great deal but depends on the shipping cost. With the shipping cost if the final bid is under $150.00 bucks, then it's a good deal.

As a collector, yeah it's good (depending on shipping).
As a gamer, no. The load times suck on all models of the NGCD (even the CDZ).

Good point. He didn't ask the purpose just price initially. However, you can play the Neo Geo CD's or ISO's on the Dreamcast through Emulation with out any load times. The speed and compatibility for the CD games are 99.9%.

Holy crap! So I can put my Neo-Geo CD's in the Dreamcast and play them? Or just rom-discs? As I have a broken CDZ and a load of games i'm itching to play :p

There is a Neo Geo CD emulator for Dreamcast that has decent compatibility and performance, though I think retrogammer overstates its performance.

Yeah, but it sucks. I mean its better than nothing, but I don't think the inaccuracies outweigh the long load times. Are the load times that bad on the neo cd?

Yeah, from what I've read they use a 1x cd drive and the load times are nasty. I still want one, though!
