As for games, I just got Castle of Shikigami 3. If you like shmups i'd recommend that. There is Super Smash Bros Brawl which is almost always a good time with friends. The games actually depend a lot on what types of games you like to play.

Erm... 50230 means you haven't configured your Wii's internet settings... It's the standard response on a factory Wii when you try and use channels that require and internet connection.

Maybe you should try that first?

Yeah, definitely read the manual. I'm technologically retarded and I figured it out without any problems.

As for game suggestions, No More Heroes will rock your socks off - if you can stand the intentionally juvenile sense of humor (which I usually found hilarious).

I also suggest looking for sales at Target. I've seen a few guys on the forums here find great deals there, and I myself recently found Bully: Scholarship Edition for $12 brand new. There are some solid titles out now and you don't have to break the bank if you're smart about it.
