The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest (TASQ) is a parody/homage platformer set in a dark 8-bit world. Rival Stan Helsing robbed Simon of fame by killing Count Dracula first! Reclaim your glory by resurrecting Dracula piece by piece and slaying the dark count yourself!

Looks cool. Someone on the steam discussion page linked the demo on itch. If the demo is any count I'll add the full game to my steam list.

I saw this yesterday. Personally love it... but have to wonder how close is too close? Will Konami come after them? This isn't a dormant IP.

... I mean the sprite work, animations, enemies, and even face boss shown in the trailer are closeeeee. These guys had some stones to release this.

When does a parody become near imitation, too close to original IP?

All that business speculation aside, looks bad-A.

Aside from the obvious game the title is referencing, it also reminds me of the Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon games and ESPECIALLY Infernax

Infernax had strong Castlevania II and Zelda II vibes. I want this and I hope it gets a physical release at some point. In fact, I need to buy a physical copy of Infernax too
