Do you guys remember a while back that some deleted scenes were found for the Super Mario Bros. movie? When that news broke, it was also announced that some fans were planning on making an extended cut of the movie. Well, that actually materialized! Currently the movie is available on Archive.org. The fan edit that was uploaded is 480p, and there's some info about it on the Archive.org page. A few days later, someone uploaded an upscaled 1080p version. I would say if you're remotely interested in this, grab it now because who knows if it'll get pulled.

If you Google "Super Mario Bros Movie Extended Cut" you can find plenty of other sites reporting this.

Personally, I love the Super Mario Bros. movie and I can't wait to watch this!

Hmm, I think you should watch the theatrical cut first. The extended cut was found on VHS, and this fan release was restored using that VHS as a source. It looks decent, but obviously not the best quality. There's also missing or unfinished special effects. You'd be better off watching a DVD or BD release of it if you're watching the movie for the first time. Moreover, this isn't a finished project. They plan to do more work to it, including cutting the deleted scenes into the BD version.
