This is my beat tape, Plunderphonics.

This is my first attempt at creating a cohesive work. I pirated FL studio one day a while ago and decided to slowly teach myself the program. Unfortunately I'm not super well versed in FL Studio or music theory, but with a bit of patience, I was able to create something I can post and be proud of.
The whole thing is directly inspired by Nujabes, DJ Shadow and MF DOOM. The samples are (almost) all taken from the anime Lupin the 3rd- both the vocal and music samples. If you aren't familiar with the series, it's about a world renown thief- something I felt would be apt to "steal" (sample) from, especially when the sampling style I'm using is called Plunderphonics (thus the name of the EP).

The whole thing is loosely themed around thievery, and I hope to possibly make a trilogy of EP's based around Lupin before moving to another series.

I hope you all enjoy and will check out my next EP, tentatively titled "Stereo Jack" when I complete it!

Nice! It's not really my taste genre-wise, but congrats on the release!

Hope you enjoy! So far 2/3 songs have gotten 100+ plays (including Bandit Radios original release) and Andromeda is at 60. Barely posted it anywhere, so not too bad.
