I guess since we brought up Kunio Kun, Arc System Works (the guys who did DD IV) also have a new River City Ransom coming out later this month and the trailer actually looks pretty amazing. In fact, it looks much cooler than Double Dragon IV
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=us7MnovsPKsIt's gonna be funny seeing stupid people call this a Scott Pilgrim rip off
It's odd to see this because it seem like only a few months ago a new River City game came out on 3DS too.
https://www.gamefaqs.com/3ds/712914-riv ... kyo-rumbleIs this some Kunio Kun revival?
EDIT: Oh, I see we mentioned River City Ransom Underground already

Arc System Works licensed it but didn't develop it. Still, the folks at Conatus clearly know just how to appeal to the original fans.

Underground isn't by Arc System Works, it's an indie game by Conatus Creative Inc. that was kickstarted. The only involvement they have is in allowing them to use the name.
They did develop River City: Tokyo Rumble in the US for 3DS last year (originally in 2013 in Japan) though, which has mixed reviews. I haven't played it myself.

I'm watching the Giant Bomb quick look and it looks... kind of whatever. I don't have much affinity for Double Dragon too to be honest, grew up on Battletoads and TMNT instead.
