Wow, I seem to remember this game, or perhaps the later Online re-release being pretty well dumped-on. I wonder if there were significant changes to the re-release that ruined it.

Speed Devils online does not have the single player campaign and some of the graphical effects were toned down to make online races smoother. So the lower reviews were more than likely due to less content.
