Best import games

I just ordered a Wii Freeloader (more info here) to be able to play Shikigami no Shiro III (I know it's coming to North America but it's probably going to feature horrendous voice acting) as well as Karous and Oboro Muramasa Youtouden, which haven't been announced for release in North America [yet]. I was wondering if you guys could suggest other import-worthy games on the Wii and GameCube (any genre really, but I do love shoot em ups).

While we're at it, what would be the best import games for the DS?

Thanks!

Radilgy for gamecube is suppesod to be good, but I've heard some people say they hate the weapon system. I think there is supposed to be a Radilgy/Karous/Chaos Field triple pack on the Wii coming out soon. Here is a thread.

Unfortunately, the only imports I can remember that I can recommend are Jump Ultimate Stars, Ouendan, and Ouendan 2.

Agreed. Those three are definitely worth importing. There are many others for the DS, it just depends what sort of thing you like. The list of Japanese games on the DS is so long and varied, you will find enjoyment in something for sure. I happen to like playing Go, and I think there are at least 5 or 6 different Go games on the DS. If you like minigames or any kind of wackyness...there are probably lots that they figured US audiences wouldn't like. Sorry I can't recommend a good english site that has the imports listed.

Thanks for the suggestions!

@Chaos Jr: I'm not a big fan of Elite Beat Agents unfortunately, or most rhythm games for that matter (except Guitar Hero ^^). I've heard about Jump Ultimate Stars but never actually played it... I'll check it out.

@ott0bot: Thanks, that's one of the games I was talking about in my first post. Definitely ordering that ;) (even if I already own Chaos Field on GameCube)

@wyatt: Tower of Druaga and HomeLand sure sound interesting!

Have there been any news concerning Ketsui Death Label (NDS) recently? From what I remember, it was supposed to be a boss-rush mode of Ketsui *I think*. (By the way, why the hell is Ketsui going to be released on the Xbox 360 anyway? Are there REALLY that many X360 owners in Japan? I always thought it sold as poorly as the first Xbox.)

If you like Train Simulator games don't forget about Densha De Go Wii.

The Gamecube Mr Driller title is meant to be the best iteration of this fantatsic puzzler series. Japanese only, so give it a shot.
