I have had this CRT TV for a couple years now but was missing the remote. Finally found one and tried it out. It seems that the picture is to wide and I can't find anywhere to adjust the screen. I've tried the menu section and have tried to find an online manual to no avail.

Anyone else own this TV or can point me in the right direction.

I have both the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle CRT TV and DVD Player. Both boxed up, I should break them out again. There is no quick screen size adjustment via the remote, but might have a hidden service menu. There might be horizontal and vertical size potentiometer adjustments inside the back cover, but have care. High voltage at the Flyback Transformer even when unplugged!

Second, I'm totally jealous of the Ninja Turtles TV sets.

Third, that TV was sold in many kids themes including Mickey Mouse, Disney Princess, and Spongebob.

Nice find on the manual! I downloaded the PDF myself, thanks! Looking at the pictures confirms a same design, the last page states made by Emerson. To adjust the horizontal will require access to the hidden Service menu, the codes would not be listed in any user manual though.

The Emerson SB315 Service Manual (Sponge Bob) or Emerson P3815NT Service Manual (Ninja Turtle) lists the access codes of the hidden on screen Service Menu. The link below has a two part RAR file for the regular CRT EWC0902 Emerson TV Owners Manual, Service Manuals for the CRT and newer LCD. Strange, the manual calls for an access hole in the remote to unlock the Menu.

@ h8b1llg8ts - Go with the Disney Service manual. Be sure to have good batteries on the remote before coding in the sequence and write down the number for each code before changing. Have care you could brick your TV on some of the codes, just go after the screen size adjustment codes.

Also, avoid using the headphone jack. Amazon customer reviews show the Sponge Bob TV audio gives out, likely caused by that headphone jack that switches the audio output circuit. The mini phono jack is fragile and issue on ANY TV; the plug automatically cuts off the internal speakers for headphones or sound bar and eventually fails. Does not take much bending the internals of the tiny jack if the plug is inserted at a slight angle.

No luck. When I try to access the hidden service mode by pressing vol - on the set and 9 on the remote it does not work. I also tried to access any of the other modes to no avail.
