Now that the full season is finished, I started playing it. Finished episode 1, and it's pretty okay, even if I'm not fond of the millennial characters. I'm also glad they didn't go uber-Lynch with the setting.

Might turn out to be one of my year's favourite games!

I beat Episode 1 at a friend's house and watched the rest through a stream. Can't say I'm very fond of it because...well, it's a dull hyperlong movie with some bland, David Cage-like choices thrown every ten minutes.

The first episoed, which introduces the main mechanics and the main cast takes around 3 hours to play. In that time I could have seen a far more charming movie with the same subject like The Girl Who Leapt Through Time two times over.

By the way, they go full Lynch by the end. Sorry Pulstar

I've been watching Giant Bomb East play through it and I think it's pretty cool. It's no Until Dawn but I think I like it more than most of the TellTale stuff.

Just about to finish episode 4, I hate Maxine's inner dialogue, she's even pretentious to herself. Pre-millennials were never this annoying :|

I'm waiting for the retail release on PS4, but I plan to play it as soon as that comes out (I think this month? or maybe next month?)

Hey I sure love to rock my privileges

Eh, artfolk are pretentious and annoying. I guess that's one side effect of having a high-functioning amygdala, so we got all those people who do nothing productive  Did you know Plato wanted to kick them out of his little Utopian republic? I kind of relate to his way of thinking

Alright I'm done with the story.. I liked the game despite not really liking many of the characters.

[quote]I was glad Chloe owned up to her misdeeds, and I didn't hesitate to take her offer, after all one life versus many is always a clear-cut dilemma (unless you're in the shoes yourself). even though at her age it'd not be late to redeem herself, not that it helped countless others who lost their future because of recklessness. I like how you can relate to the story using any number of different angles, something that David Lynch couldn't manage with Twin Peaks so in effect this game is a better medium for the sort of story it wanted to tell.

They also utterly missed a perfect opportunity to use that fabulous song from The Breakfast Club!

Requested refund on steam. Fantastic game description that fell miles and miles from the final product.

Did you really expect something radically different from Telltale's games? :?
