I haven't messed around with this yet, but it says you can use shader effects in games and emulators that do not have this ability built in. Sounds awesome!

ive been playing with SweetFX and Reshade for a while and its pretty cool , below are my settings for Dolphin emulator.

btw set your resolution to 1080p in Dolphin emulator

also you guys may want to try a alternate Dolphin called Ishiiruka-Dolphin , it uses less resources therefor runs faster.
