Wiimote power adapter?

Does anyone have any experience with a wired wiimote adapter? USB or wall powered is fine. I just need something that can run a wiimote without having to be reset.

I have a friend who loves Bubble Bobble Plus on Wiiware and wants it as an arcade machine, and I would rather have a legit product than soldering the leads from a 3v powersupply to the terminals in the wiimote.

I do not (other than the energizer wireless recharging mat I use), but I am following this thread with interest.

Never seen one, but I wonder if an AC adapter with DC 3v matched to the correct pins of the Wimote port (instead of Nunchuck) would work? You could sacrifice an inexpensive 3rd party Nunchuck cable for the simple two wire mod, this would prevent having to solder inside the Wiimote for a clean plug in connection.

As far as my research can tell, there is no retail solution that does this at a decent price. But I should be able to just take a Wiimote, tape it in a powered dock, and run the leads from that to a block. So if I do not have enough 3v power adapters, I am just going to do that.

I have one of those rechargeable Wii battery blocks, like this. I did play some games with the recharging cable constantly attached (to a USB-to-power outlet adapter), so it does work.
