Do you replace all your "go green" cases?

I have successfully replaced all of my Wii, 360, and even the DS cases. Man, swapping all those cases was pretty tricky.

I'd love to. But I don't think I've gotten even half the games I want for the systems, so I'd focus on that first.

If there are any video rental stores left in your area. ask them if they have any extra cases to sell.
Hit up the dollar tree. Mine locally has like 15 copies of rockband track pack. I've bought a few. they arent eco boxes.
Ask a friend or relative if they have any spare cases lying around. Many times the discs go missing or people just put them in binders *shudder*
Thrift stores always get empty dvd cases. Ask nicely and maybe they'll give you some.
keep children away from your ecoboxes so they wont poke them with their dirty, grubby, destructive hands

I guess you're talking about the cases with the recycling symbol holes cut into them, presumably to use less plastic. That used to bother me, and I was replacing them, but then one day I realized I was being silly and stopped. Sure the cases feel more flimsy, but when they are up on the shelf being squeezed between all the other cases, their structural integrity is hardly in danger.

I could never find a reason to justify hating those cases. They don't bother me in the slightest.
In fact the first time I saw them I thought it was pretty cool.

It seems alot of thrift stores have cases with no games. 9/10 they'll just give it to you if the game is missing.

Yes. They suck and I blame Obama for forcing all this environmental crap into the video game industry.

I really dislike them. A lot of the secondhand titles i've been seeing in these cases have damaged artwork because of them. For my own collection though, i'm usually ginger enough with them where it doesn't matter to me.

I would but I'd rather spend the money on games.

Right, "environmental".
I think they do it to save on materials cost.
The only entity I can imagine would be responsible for some large amount of game cases ending up in landfills that would require such a large effort to reduce the plastic in individual cases just so there'd be less plastic in the landfills is GameStop and other retailers.
I don't recall anyone throwing away DVD cases of any kind to store the disc in a book or something. I'm sure they're out there ... considering the quality of most discs I find in used stores ... but they hardly seem common. However, every single GameStop store throws away several pounds of plastic a month.
