OK so I have not bought a flash card since NDS and the R4.

Is there a good 3ds flash card?

Something that can store multiple roms and allow a menu system to select which game?
If so what is the best flash cart on the market for 3DS?

Thanks!!!!

I presume you mean one that works on the later firmware updates for the NDS? Would be good to know, i've an R4 card and it doesn't work on my DS XL for that reason.

I got one of last years batches of R4 cards too.

It works fine on my 3dsXl, I tried it once on an orginal ds lite and it worked okay. But it did not work on a DsiXL.

the screen sometimes did load, but it wouldn't start. But most of the time the DsiXL would not recognize it in the slot.

There was a firmware upgrade a few months ago. and it rendered my R4 useless. Untill I redownloaded the kernel and other various files. Other firmware updates didnt hurt the R4, But only untill the next time.

I have not searched, but I dont know if there is anything out there for 3ds roms. I'm perfectly happy emulating normal DS games.

Some newer R4 cards can hold bigger micro SD cards. I currently use a 32gb card.

Thing is though, not a good idea to downgrade firmware unless you know what you are doing, as you could brick your unit I presume. Point is to have a card that works with the new firmware.

I'm actually not looking at getting one, just curious; I have quite a few original DS games so the titles i'd want to load as ROMs would be small, however would be good to know an alternative working card.

If your R4 is legit (or a certain type of clone), I am pretty sure that Wood R4, lets you use it on a XL / 3DS. Check GBATemp.

Wood looks a far nicer menu and it works fine on my DS Lite, but not the DS XL, as uses later firmware.
