Ok so whats my problem.....? Well its this
I play team fortress 2, all half life 2 and portal and they all run perfectly for countless hours on the highest settings. I installed bioshock and call of duty 4 (btw I got the original of those two) and they start fine once you begin to play 30 seconds in game the pc crashes the graphics get all distortion and the gpu temperature its at its normal for that card (3870hd) 53C. I even downloaded the new catalyst and install them but still the same problem. Has anybody had that same problem?
oh and another thing my memory only runs single channel and YES i put them just as the manual says for running in dual on slot 1 and 2 or slot 3 and 4 Ive put them on those slots and even 1,3 or 2 and 4 and nothing keeps telling me that it runs in single channel. Any suggestions on this one?

First, have you updated your motherboard to the latest BIOS? If not, try that and see if you have the same problems.
Unfortuntly, I've heard nothing but bad things about the Phenom processor. Make sure you install whatever drivers/software are out there for the Phenom from AMD after upgrading the BIOS.
If a BIOS update doesn't fix your memory issues I'd suggest contacting MSI and see if they have a list of supported memory configurations. If yours are supported its possible there is an issue with your motherboard and/or RAM. I suggest you run memtest86 to make sure the RAM is ok.
Finally - what OS are you running? 32 or 64 bit? Make sure you get any updates availible for both those and games your having issues with.
