Hey guys, not sure where to put this, but I thought you all would get a kick out of the Briefcade I made awhile ago. Me and a few other guys get together at work to play old school arcade games. Only problem is, I am the only one who hosts with an arcade, so I got sick of everyone coming over to my house and made the arcade portable.

I found the briefcase at Goodwill and I had been thinking about putting something together like this for awhile. I have more of the actual build on my blog, but here are some more pics.

Nice! You should install one of those quick release JLF shafts for your joystick, though.

Nice idea for a transportable unit to take to work for lunchbreaks!

That is sweet! You improved on the Laptop by incorporating that Arcade stick in a handy transportable brief case. Interested in the specs and how the stick is wired into I guess a laptop underneath? Link to your blog and maybe a pic of the controller hinged up?

Seems to be down right now, not sure why.
Here is a pic of the internals. It runs on Raspberry Pi, and monitor and Rasp Pi are powered through the same switch.

Dont take it through a airport ever, those bastard TSA's will most likely confiscate it permanently.
