I never knew anybody that had them back in the day.

I've been curious about this myself. I'd like to try at least one as I have both the Sega CD and 32X.
On second thought, I just checked the list on Wikipedia and they all look like FMV poop.

The games....
Corpse Killer
Fahrenheit
Night Trap
Slam City with Scottie Pippen
Supreme Warrior
Surgical Strike
Pretty weak - I know some people like those games "ironically" (especially Night Trap) but I think they're pretty much garbage.
On their own the Sega CD and 32X have some awesome titles though.

I have been meaning to pick up Corpse Killer and Night Trap as those are the only 2 I could see myself sticking in once in a blue moon.
Good luck finding Surgical Strike! If you do, please give it to me.

The Sega CD had a 1x drive and peanuts for buffer, so I imagine any ideas for advanced games that took advantage of CD storage went out the window pretty swiftly.

Oops my bad disregard what I previously said and yeah all the Sega 32x CD games were just mild upgrades of their Sega CD counterparts which for all intents and purposes ain't worth crap.

As an owner of both add-ons, I never felt the need to seek out any 32X-CD games.
I did see Night Trap 32X in action once, and it was a good improvement in video quality, but not good enough a game to plug 3 power adapters in at once (actually, it was on a CDX, so only 2, but still).
It does make me wonder what Saturn games could have possibly been ported, but I think there was a reason there were only 6 games.

If you took away the FMV and digital audio you could cram many 32-bit generation games on cartridges, but CD-ROM came as a blessing to manufacturers since it was much cheaper than silicon. I imagine had the 32X been successful there would have been several
System 32 ports but Virtua Cop, Daytona and VF2 would have been impossible without major rewriting of the engines that powered them. Even with Model 1 conversions the 32X struggled to provide a similar level of quality. Perhaps also we could have had a port of Mortal Kombat 3 with redbook audio, but again the install-base of all three platforms (MD+SCD+32X) didn't warrant any big projects.
The combination of the slow drive and meagre buffer really killed off any potential. Even early PS1 titles like MK3 had loading issues, such as Shang Tsung's morphing causing actual in-game interruptions.

Honestly both seem just as blocky to me
Early 3D games were really not my thing. Probably why even as a kid I was more interested in an SNES than an N64. (yeah I know that opinion was not exactly mainstream).
